Manners and Social Graces for the 21st Century
Proper manners do not just happen. They are taught, reinforced, and practiced until they become second nature. That is exactly what we do here at The Etiquette School of New York, in our fun-filled positively reinforced classes.
Our lessons are taught in an elegant, yet relaxing setting for students in the 2nd through 12th grades. Students are grouped according to their grades with never more than ten children in a class. We do this so every child receives the individual attention they deserve.
Each session is comprised of six, one-hour lessons which culminate with a final exam for students where they dine at an elegant Saratoga Springs restaurant for a full 5-course meal. At this meal, they put into practice all they have learned in their lessons.
Classes cover topics of self-presentation, the proper handshake, the four types of introductions, American and Continental dining styles, appropriate dinner conversation, writing the proper Thank You note, telephone etiquette, as well as Internet Etiquette and Safety to name just a few of the topics we discuss.
The cost for our six-lesson session is $265.00. This includes seven hours of instructions by a certified master, including personalized binders, food samples, all supplies each week, letters home to parents each week, graduation certificates, as well as the cost of each student's 5-course dinner at an exclusive Saratoga restaurant.
